TERM FEES
Term fees apply only to course fees (groups) and will be based on
the number of teaching weeks in the school term. It will take into account whether
lesson days fall on public holidays or weekends of school holidays.
All individual prepaid music lessons will be paid in 5 or 10 lesson blocks and will
therefore not be confined to the structure of school terms.

COURSE FEES
The only groups considered to be charged as "Course Term
Fees" - irrespective of whether a person is absent or not are the
prearranged group lessons (4 - 5 pupils). Exceptions
to this may be considered pending the circumstances. (eg: family moving
away from Perth). Please discuss with the tutor.
All other fees for individual lessons will be based on
attendance. Refer to
"Absences" with regard to this category.

REGISTRATION DAY - This will occur when group classes commence.
The purpose of a registration day is to allow time to discuss
any queries, enrol and discuss arrangements to make payment for lessons. This is
to effectively reduce payments for lessons being made during lesson times so it
doesn't "eat" into the tutoring time allocated.
A registration day allows for:
- individuals to meet with the tutor before commencing
lessons
- filling in a registration/enrolment form
- clarification of any particular details that the parent(s)/guardian
may require
- distribution of class/lesson times
- calculation of term fees and applicable discounts
- receipt of fees and information leaflet
- distribution of materials and/or tutor manuals to new
pupils

FEES PAYABLE (for individual music lessons only)
- Fees can be prepaid in 5 or 10 week blocks (discounted) unless attending on a casual basis.
- Regular casual lessons may be paid weekly provided they have paid one lesson in advance
- Fees paid by the individual shows a commitment to attend the
designated lessons for the duration of the block of weeks paid for.
- Invoices will be issued for the next block of lessons in time for payment to be made
on the 5th or 10th lesson (which ever is applicable)
- Fees are payable in advance prior to the commencement of
lessons (on registration
day), or on the first
lesson of attendance.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT TO PAY FEES IN
INSTALMENTS
- If you are unable to make full term payments for courses, please
discuss this with your tutor so a special arrangement can be made.
- Failure to comply with any special arrangement to pay in instalments
as arranged, without prior discussion and arrangement with the tutor, may result
in the recipient losing their booked time slot - that is, after having
utilised the unused balance of fees previously paid.
- Pensioners may keep their payments one week in advance in order to retain
their selected lesson time.

ABSENCES
- For all individual lessons and group lessons in piano,
keyboard or guitar, at least 48 hours notice MUST be given to the tutor if a
pupil is unable to attend their lesson, otherwise the lesson will be charged.
Early notification of absence will therefore allow the carry over of that lesson
to the following week as scheduled.
- 2 and 3 family member lessons are charged regardless of the
number of those attending at one time (eg: if one is away sick). 48
hours prior notice of all being absent will prevent that lesson for the day
from being charged.
- Late notified absences may allow for a "catch
up" lesson (if possible) on the current week the lesson was missed,
- Absences for the Introduction to Music course, Preschool
Music course and prearranged group lessons (4 - 5 pupils) are not recorded
as these are classified as courses. The fee therefore covers a specific number of weeks regardless of any
absence. An alternative time may be provided if there are an adequate
number of groups currently running.
- In the event of the tutor being unwell to take lessons,
contact will be made prior to lesson time. Lessons will either be
credited or an alternative time will be made available to catch up.
This also applies to Introduction to Music and Preschool Music Courses.
